Meet the therapist, Danielle Lall (she/her)

Danielle Lall has a Masters of Counselling and is a Registered Provisional Psychologist. Her gentle and calm demeanour helps her clients feel safe and heard. Danielle provides individual counselling to both adults and adolescents. She is particularly interested in supporting those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, as well as those who have experienced family and domestic violence and trauma. Danielle works from a strength-based perspective, believing that the client is the expert in their own experiences and already possesses the knowledge and abilities to overcome their challenges. She hopes to work with her clients collaboratively and conversationally to assist them in living their preferred future. Danielle hopes to provide a safe space to process difficult emotions and experiences while also offering practical tools that clients can translate into their lives. Using a holistic approach, Danielle can help her clients discover their strengths, create positive change, and live a more fulfilled and authentic life.

How Danielle Can Help

In order to best meet the needs of each client, Danielle takes a person-centered therapy approach while incorporating a variety of other therapeutic modalities, such as Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Somatic-Based approaches. She also has extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is an effective treatment for a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, grief, addictions, and self-esteem concerns. Danielle's holistic approach helps clients identify the underlying causes of their distress, allowing them to uncover past wounds that are affecting their lives and relationships. This helps clients gain a deeper understanding of their challenges and supports them in taking steps to enhance their lives.
